The puppies turned 4 weeks today, and the weather was beautiful, so they went outside for first time.

The puppies had a visit Saturday from one if the future puppy owners. Ansel and his family where down from the U.P. of Michigan visiting family, and came to see the pups. Ansel is excited to get his new pup and join a family friend, and his Small Munsterlander, for training & hunting.

The puppies eyes are starting to open and they are starting to walk now. Below is a close up of one of the pups with its eyes starting to open.

The puppies are 1 week old and growing fast. They have almost doubled in size already, and become very vocal.

Litha had her puppies last night. We have six healthy males, and three healthy females. We will post more pictures when Litha takes a break from nursing. In the meantime, here’s a picture of Litha with all the pups. Enjoy!
Litha has gained almost 10 pounds with 2 weeks to go. We are expecting the her to whelp around March 16th.
She should gain several more pounds by then, so we are expecting this litter to be a good size. Depending on how many pups she has, we are still looking for interested puppy buyers.
Good news! We have confirmation Litha is pregnant. A little early to tell exactly how many by a palpation, but it feels like quite a few!
We are excited to announce we will breeding Litha one final time. We will be breeding her to Ivanoff’s CP Andreas, who was recently approved for breeding. He’s a very nice dog that should complement Litha well. Breeding will take place the middle if January, with puppies born the middle of March. Please see our availability page for more info.
It was a busy week, as five of the puppies went to their new homes this past week. Three will be staying in Michigan including:
Celeste (call name Annie) with James Huck
Crescent (call name Jasmine) with the Sweeneys
Caedon with Matt Melton
Two pups will be going to Ohio including Charlie (call name Xela) with the Nighswanders
Finally, little Clementine flew to Boston to live with the Makkas family. Here’s Clementine after a bath, and ready for her flight.
